On November 13, 2011, SGM members participated in a charity bazaar to raise funds for relief efforts for the recent devastating floods in Thailand. The bazaar was held in a fishing village in Kuala Perlis. The money raised from the bazaar was later given to Sin Chew Jit Poh to be channelled to the Thailand flood relief efforts. The bazaar raised a total of RM30,000, of which RM2,164 was raised by the SGM members.
