“Radhe! Radhe! 2.0” Performance  at Selangor Culture Centre Promotes Cultural Exchange

Following the successful presentation of “Meniti Cakerawala 2.0” at the Ikeda Peace Auditorium of the SGM Selangor Culture Centre in August 2025, Sutra Foundation and SGM Selangor continued their cultural exchange collaboration. On 9 May 2026, both organisations jointly presented “Radhe! Radhe! 2.0” at the same venue, attracting many members of the public to experience the beauty of Indian classical dance.

SGM president Johnny Ng said that following the enthusiastic response to last year’s performance, SGM was delighted to welcome Sutra Foundation back once again. He also expressed appreciation to Sentosa assemblyperson YB Gunaraj R. George,  Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) chief secretary Dr Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, as well as members of the cultural and arts community for their support and attendance. Sutra Foundation founder and internationally renowned dancer Datuk Ramli Ibrahim shared in his speech that he hoped the Klang performance would further deepen public appreciation for Indian culture and the arts.

“Radhe! Radhe! 2.0” centres on the classical Indian tale of Radha and Krishna. Through graceful Odissi classical dance, live music and poetic stage presentation, the performance conveys profound themes of devotion, love and human emotion. The dancers’ refined and captivating performances immersed the audience in an atmosphere where art and spirituality intertwined, earning enthusiastic applause throughout the evening.

The performance not only showcased the richness of Indian traditional culture, but also further strengthened the friendship and cultural exchange between Sutra Foundation and SGM Selangor, reflecting the spirit of promoting peace through culture and connecting hearts through the arts.
