SUJ Holds Study Abroad Explanatory Tour Across Malaysia

From 24–26 July 2026, Soka University of Japan (SUJ) vice-president Prof Akio Nishiura, Global Core Centre assistant manager Minoru Nirasawa and Faculty of Science and Engineering assistant lecturer Dr Stella Chan visited the SGM Culture Centre and culture centres in Penang and Sabah to conduct study abroad explanatory sessions, attracting over 280 participants.

The representatives introduced the university’s history, faculties and academic programmes, admission system, tuition fees and scholarships, student accommodation, campus life and career support services, providing prospective students with comprehensive information on studying at SUJ. During the question-and-answer sessions, participants actively sought advice on admission procedures and studying in Japan, gaining a deeper understanding of the university.

In addition, Malaysian SUJ alumni and current students shared why they chose the university and spoke about their experiences studying in Japan, offering participants valuable insights into academic and campus life.

The sessions provided participants with comprehensive guidance on further education opportunities, addressing their questions and supporting their future study plans. They also encouraged young people to discover their potential and pursue broader opportunities for personal growth and development.
