Penang Port Commission Chairman Visits SGM Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall,
Deepen Understanding of Soka Peace Ideals

 

On 12 April 2026, Penang Port Commission chairperson Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin visited the SGM Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall (MDPH) at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM together with a group of guests.

Dato’ Yeoh, who was the guest-of-honour for the “Timeless Art Legacy – Exhibition of Artworks Donated by Sim Tiak Choo” art exhibition, toured the hall prior to the opening ceremony. During the visit, he learned about SGM’s initiatives in promoting peace, culture and education, and viewed the “Our Beautiful Earth” photography exhibition by President Ikeda, which conveys messages of coexistence and peace. Through the exhibits, he gained a deeper understanding of SGM’s efforts to foster social dialogue and mutual understanding through culture and the arts, and expressed appreciation for its long-standing commitment to promoting peace and uniting people.
