SGM Joins Aidilfitri Celebrations,
Promotes Understanding and Friendship

In April 2026, representatives of SGM attended two Aidilfitri celebrations organised by local cultural and educational institutions, fostering goodwill and strengthening ties within the community through cultural exchange and dialogue.

On 7 April, SGM External Affairs and Communications Department head Joanne Foo attended an Aidilfitri reception hosted by Open University Malaysia in Shah Alam, where she engaged with guests from various sectors.

On 11 April, SGM president Johnny Ng led a delegation to an Aidilfitri celebration organised by the Federation of National Writers Associations of Malaysia (GAPENA) in Kuala Lumpur, where they interacted with members of the literary and cultural community.

Through its continued participation in such engagements, SGM promotes understanding and friendship, contributing to harmony in a multicultural society.
