Lahad Datu Soka Community Day – Strengthening Bonds and Building a Vibrant Community 

On 12 April 2026, the Soka Community Day for Lahad Datu, Sabah, was held at  Lahad Datu Recreational Park at Taman Katak, with approximately 40 participants in attendance. The event combined community bonding activities with environmental conservation efforts, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere throughout the day.

The programme began with warm-up exercises led by the youth division, followed by an energetic aerobic performance by the young women’s division. The junior division then presented a performance of “The Rising Sun,” adding vibrant energy to the community gathering.

In the group interaction section, participants were divided into three teams and took part in various games, including table tennis relay, paired ball balancing, three-legged coordination challenges and water cup relay. Through cooperation and teamwork, participants completed each activity successfully. At the same time, everyone also engaged in a community clean-up activity, collecting litter to help maintain a clean and pleasant environment.

Throughout the event, participants worked closely together in a harmonious atmosphere. The activities not only strengthened teamwork and cohesion but also deepened mutual connections among community members.
