TSS Six-Year-Olds Visit MDPH to Learn Founder’s Philosophy and Experience Values of Peace and Culture

On 8 and 9 April 2026, 107 six-year-old children from Tadika Seri Soka (TSS, Malaysia Soka Kindergarten), accompanied by 14 teachers, visited the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall (MDPH) in Wisma Kebudayaan SGM.

Guided by their teachers, they viewed the “Our Beautiful Earth” exhibition featuring the photos of TSS founder Daisaku Ikeda and learned about the stories behind the works. Each child was asked to select a photograph and share why they liked it. The exchanges were lively, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere.

The children then toured the “SGI President Ikeda: In Pursuit of Peace” exhibition, where they further explored the founder’s philosophy of peace. Through explanations on topics such as the origins of the Soka Gakkai’s peace movement, the importance of dialogue and the Cold War, the children deepened their understanding and expressed their aspiration to contribute to peace in the future.

Visiting the MDPH is a key learning experience for the six-year-olds prior to graduation. The programme aims to help them appreciate the founder’s philosophy of peace and culture, and gradually put them into practice as they grow, contributing to a more compassionate and proactive society.
