TSS Family Sports Day Strengthens Family-School Partnership
On 25 April 2026, Tadika Seri Soka (TSS) held a Family Sports Day at a field near its campus, with over 800 teachers, parents and children participating enthusiastically. The event unfolded in a lively and relaxed atmosphere, with parent-child collaboration and team-based games fostering stronger family-school partnership, while enabling children to learn and grow through active participation.
Following a warm-up session, all participants were grouped and rotated through various game stations, taking on different challenges. The stations were designed for different age groups, with activities of varying difficulty levels. Parents and children worked together to complete tasks, building rapport through cooperation and communication, as an energetic atmosphere filled the field.
In addition to championship prizes, awards for friendship, courage and team spirit were presented. Special Creativity awards were also introduced for the five- and six-year-old groups. These awards encouraged children to demonstrate confidence, teamwork and creativity. This year’s Family Sports Day included children aged four to six, allowing them to fully engage in a wide variety of activities.
The event not only enabled children to develop physical fitness and teamwork skills through play, but also allowed parents to take a more active role in their children’s growth. Through shared participation and interaction, stronger home-school bonds were formed, creating a more positive and supportive environment for children’s development.
