Taiwan Chang Jung Christian University Delegation Visits MDPH

On 21 July 2026, Wisma Kebudayaan SGM (WKSGM) welcomed a delegation of 13 students and parents from the Department of Calligraphy and Painting Arts of Taiwan’s Chang Jun Christian University (CJCU). The visit was arranged through the introduction of Chung Hua High School Seremban vice-principal Lee Jia Cheng and led by CJCU’s Calligraphy and Painting Arts Department chair Assoc Prof Chiang Po-Hsuan. During their visit to the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of the Soka Gakkai’s commitment to promoting the ideals of peace, culture and education.

During the visit, the delegation toured the “Our Beautiful Earth” photography exhibition by President Ikeda and the “SGI President Ikeda: In Pursuit of Peace” exhibition, learning more about the Soka Gakkai’s philosophy of peace, culture and education, as well as SGM’s efforts to advance arts and cultural activities in Malaysia.

Following the tour, SGM representatives and the delegation engaged in discussions on topics including the Soka Gakkai’s peace movement, artistic creation and exhibition planning. Through these sincere exchanges, participants deepened mutual understanding, strengthened friendships between art enthusiasts from Malaysia and Taiwan, and laid the groundwork for continued exchanges and future collaboration.
