SISM and SUA Sign MoU, Strengthen Collaboration in Humanistic Education
On 17 July 2026, a delegation from Soka University of America (SUA) visited Soka International School Malaysia (SISM), where the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the school library. The MoU marks a shared commitment to strengthening educational collaboration, promoting academic exchange and talent development, and expanding opportunities for international cooperation in education.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the two institutions by SUA president Dr Edward Feasel and SISM chief executive officer and chairperson Michael Kok. The signing ceremony was witnessed by SUA executive vice-president Archibald Asawa and SISM principal Dr Wendy Yee. Distinguished guests in attendance included SISM senior director Yoshiki Tanigawa, SGI executive bureau vice-general executive officer Shinji Ushioda, SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai, as well as other representatives from SISM and SGM.
