Prominent Malaysian Arts and Cultural Figures Visit MDPH

On 6 June 2026, prior to the opening ceremony of the “Harmony: In Colours and Combinations” exhibition, National Cultural Council chairperson Tan Sri Datuk Hajah Norliza Rofli, National Literature Laureate Prof Emeritus Dr Muhammad Haji Salleh, and renowned Malaysian artists Dr Elias Yamani Ismail and Mohd Nizam Radzaly visited the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall (MDPH) at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM.

Guided by SGM representatives, they were introduced to the “SGI President Ikeda: In Pursuit of Peace” exhibition located on the ninth floor, gaining a deeper understanding on President Ikeda’s contribution in peace, culture and education.

Tan Sri Norliza expressed her hope that more people would visit both exhibitions, which she found deeply moving because of the values they convey. Meanwhile, Dr Elias reflected on the meaning of soka (value creation), and called on all artists to actively engage with and contribute to society.
