The New Human Revolution is a novelised history of the Soka Gakkai. The protagonist is Shin’ichi Yamamoto, third president of the Soka Gakkai (whose character represents SGI President Daisaku Ikeda)

Chapters (Summary of Contents)

A New Era: With the completion of the Grand Reception Hall, Shin’ichi fulfils another one of his vows to his mentor. For the sake of creating a new era where people give full play to their abilities to create a new society in the new “essential phase,” Shin’ichi travels to Australia.

Young Phoenixes: Shin’ichi establishes the elementary school, junior high school and high school divisions to create an eternal flow for the river of Soka. He devotes himself unstintingly to these young phoenixes’ growth.

Brilliant Light: Shin’ichi visits Eastern Europe for the first time, alongside Asian countries and others. While observing the effects of how totalitarian social systems oppress people, he also engages in earnest dialogue and encouragement.

Hope of the People: The Komei Party is officially established as a true voice for the people. Shin’ichi begins writing The Human Revolution in Okinawa, a land once ravaged by war, vowing to stir waves of peace from here.
