Negeri Sembilan “Happiness × Music Gathering” Unites Hearts through Song and Inspires Hope
On 28 March 2026, Negeri Sembilan youth members held a “Happiness × Music Gathering” which attracted 181 attendees, including 15 new guests.
The concert opened with a song-guessing segment, followed by performances featuring guitar and piano accompaniment by youth members. As the audience waved glow sticks, the atmosphere gradually grew more vibrant.
Young women’s division member Ang Foong Theng shared her experience, relating how through studying Soka education principles, she overcame personal limitations and realised her dreams. She also expressed her aspiration to continue as an educator at Soka International School Malaysia.
This was followed by sharing sessions from men’s division member Tien Wye Longg, young women’s division member Lisa Cheok Xin Yi, and young men’s division member Yat Yu Dong. Drawing from value-creation philosophy and Buddhist perspectives, they guided attendees to reflect on their life direction and encouraged them to face the future with hope.
The event concluded with a group sing-along of several songs. Through music, participants connected with one another, gathered collective strength, and brought the concert to a warm and fulfilling close.
