KL, Selangor HSD Study Meetings Build Friendships through Courage and Sincerity
In March and April 2026, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur South organised high school division (HSD) study meetings in several areas which served to welcome new members and encourage them to build meaningful friendships through courage and sincerity.
On 27 March, Cheras East Region in Kuala Lumpur South held a friendship-themed study meeting at the SGM Culture Centre attended by 17 people, including 10 HSD members. Members shared President Ikeda’s guidance on friendship, encouraging each other to cultivate sincere bonds.
Selangor’s North Zone held the state’s first HSD study meeting at a local centre on 28 March with 17 HSD members among the 29 participants. Student division members facilitated interactive games and shared their experiences, helping participants understand what courage truly means and take action towards realising personal goals.
On 4 April, East Zone in Selangor held a study meeting at the Subang Jaya Centre. A total of 19 people attended, including six HSD members. Centred on courage, the study introduced the life of Mahatma Gandhi alongside President Ikeda’s guidance, encouraging members to move forward bravely in the face of life’s challenges.
Through these study meetings, participants strengthened their understanding of friendship and courage through dialogue and practice. By fostering connections with one another, they cultivated the strength to move forward, while laying a hopeful foundation for their future growth.
