At the close of 2025, the SGM youth division presented the Youth Peace Culture Festival nationwide. More than 5,000 performers and working committee members dedicated themselves wholeheartedly, while over 30,000 audience members gathered in enthusiastic support – together creating a vibrant tapestry of culture.

More than two decades after SGM last organised a Youth Peace Culture Festival, the event returned with 23 sessions held across the country, each planned and executed by the youth, showcasing their creativity, initiative and spirit of unity.
Centred on the theme “OMBAK,” the festival symbolised how individual actions can build momentum and grow into a powerful collective force for peace. Youth in every state rooted their performances in local culture, using music, dance and drama to convey thoughtful reflections on peace, coexistence and shared responsibility.

Amid the demands of studies, careers and rehearsals, the youths supported one another and advanced together with determination and teamwork, strengthening both resilience and friendship. As President Ikeda says, “[Culture festivals] are microcosms of human harmony, showing the beauty and strength of unity arising from trust and friendship.”
