SoHA Exhibition at 14 Locations Draws Over 11,000 Visitors

SGM Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Kedah held the “Seeds of Hope and Action” (SoHA) exhibition at 14 locations in September and October 2023 to promote sustainable living.

From 9 September to 15 October, SGM Kuala Lumpur organised the exhibition at 10 locations, namely SMK Damansara Jaya, SMK Taman Sea, SJKC Puay Chai, SMK Kelana Jaya, SK Taman Megah, SJKT Vivekananda, SJKC Puay Chai 2, SMKP Sri Aman, Paradigm Mall (all in Petaling Jaya) and SJKC Kalumpang in Hulu Selangor, attracting a total of 10,221 visitors.

By being the narrators, many students have gained self-confidence and increased awareness on environmental issues.

After viewing the exhibition, a primary school student is determined to protect the forests as they supply oxygen, while another student decided to save the Earth after learning about its current severe condition.

Meanwhile, from 10 to 24 September, SGM Johor displayed the exhibition at SJKC Chien Hwa in Pontian, SJKC Yu Ming in Pekan Nanas and SJKC Nam Heng in Masai, drawing 1152 visitors.

SGM Kedah also organised the exhibition on 1 October at SJKC Min Sin in Kota Sarang Semut, attended by 118 students, teachers and parents.
