On 24 March, Prof Chung You-Hui, a prominent Taiwanese modern printmaker delivered an art talk themed “Sustainability, Creation and Appreciation of Printmaking” at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM, attended by over 70 art enthusiasts. Moderated by Dasein Academy’s fine arts programme head Kim Ng, Prof Chung shared insights from his artistic career spanning over half a century.

On 17 March, the International Association of Creative Arts (IACA) Art Conference was held at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM, participated by 50 local and overseas artists, scholars and art enthusiasts. On 16 March, “The 1st International Association of Creative Arts (IACA) Exhibition” was officially opened at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM, officiated by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture division secretary (culture) Dr Tan Awang Besar. Mainly organised by IACA and SGM, the exhibition themed “Artistic Coexistence and Prosperity” featured artworks by 90 artists from 19 countries

The “A Retrospective Chew Teng Beng – Life, Art and Writings” exhibition, held at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM (WKSGM) since 23 December 2023, concluded on 4 February 2024, recording a total of more than 3,700 visitors. Many of these visitors were visiting WKSGM for the first time, with a significant number of them being university students.
