On 1 November 2023, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia cultural division director Ellen Ko and deputy assistant director Kuo Yu-Ting visited Wisma Kebudayaan SGM (WKSGM).
During their visit to the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall, they learnt about SGM’s ideologies and its contributions in various areas, including culture, education, sustainable development, peace and humanitarian aid. They also toured the exhibition hall introducing the three founding presidents of the Soka Gakkai and President Ikeda’s pursuit of peace.
They later viewed the “Crossing Boundaries – Sharifah Zuriah Aljeffri: Her Art and Life” exhibition displayed at the Soka Exhibition Hall during their visit.
Ellen Ko commended SGM for its endeavours across various fields and expressed her admiration for President Ikeda’s universal thoughts that transcend national and ethnic boundaries.
