On 2 and 3 August, Soka University of Japan (SUJ) held study abroad explanatory meetings at the SGM Culture Centre, as well as the SGM Selangor and Johor Culture Centres. The sessions were also streamed online, attracting some 600 participants in total.

SUJ Faculty of International Liberal Arts dean Prof Ichiro Sugimoto shared SUJ’s aspirations and encouraged participants to pursue their dreams, unlock their potential and grow into global citizens who contribute to society.
Meanwhile, Prof Tatsuki Toda from the Faculty of Science and Engineering introduced a new green technology programme to be launched next year. Later, International Affairs Office representatives Yuka Ueda and Yap Jay Hynn provided information on SUJ’s academic programmes, admissions and scholarships, among others.

The SUJ delegation also visited Foon Yew High School Johor Bahru, Chung Hua High School Seremban and Chung Hwa Independent High School Klang to conduct admission briefings.
