In celebration of Ikeda Kayo-kai Day on 4 June and Women’s Division Day on 10 June, SGM women’s and young women’s divisions jointly organised a series of coffee chat gatherings throughout June. A total of 1,630 coffee chat sessions were held nationwide, with over 10,000 participants, including 470 new friends, deepening and expanding networks of friendship.
Held in various ways – such as café conversations, hiking, morning exercises, yoga, and lipstick or cookie-making workshops – these gatherings provided meaningful opportunities for dialogue, encouragement and connection.

In Pahang, discussions revolved around workplace and relationship issues. A young women’s division member – who had seldom participated in SGM activities before – expressed her determination to introduce SGM to a friend experiencing depression. At another gathering, a new friend decided to join SGM after experiencing the warmth of the meeting.
Meanwhile, in Negeri Sembilan, participants explored topics such as balancing work and family, parenting, prayer and shakubuku. In one session, members visited a new friend recovering from a leg injury. Deeply moved by their genuine concern, she felt inspired and began chanting.
