On 8 March, SGM was invited to participate in a poem recitation programme coorganised by the National Poets Association and Semenyih Public Library at the library compound. SGM youth representative Yap Yuan Tian recited the poem “Rumah Kechil” by A. Ghani Abdullah, promoting the humanistic values of virtue and humility.

The programme, officiated by National Laureate Emeritus Prof Dr Muhammad Haji Salleh, aimed to foster appreciation for literature in rural communities.
