SGM took part in the 12th International Society for the Study of Chinese Overseas (ISSCO) International Conference at the University of Malaya on 4 and 5 November 2025 by setting up a publications booth.

Organised by UM’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in collaboration with ISSCO, the conference attracted over 600 scholars and researchers from over 20 countries and territories. 

SGM’s booth featured selected titles that complemented the conference theme, “Chinese Overseas in a Changing World: Global Networks, Local Realities,” introducing participants to Soka Gakkai’s humanistic philosophy and its contributions to culture and education.

The participation demonstrated SGM’s ongoing commitment to fostering cultural understanding, peace and scholarly exchange through the power of literature.
