On 31 October, 2021, SGM Selangor distributed food baskets to 100 Indian households at Lead Up Malaysia Community Centre. This event was organised by Lead Up Malaysia Community Centre, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), as part of a Deepavali community programme. The programme was held to help families in Sentosa, Klang who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
