On 8 September, SGM Selangor gifted 15 books to SJKC Pui Ying. The books were handed by SGM Selangor representative Jimmy Ng to the school vice-principal Ker Chek Wei, witnessed by SGM communication, culture and information division head Chia Kok Peng, the Parent-Teacher Association board members, teachers, parents and students.

Among the books gifted were children’s storybooks written by President Ikeda and books on great figures such as Mahatma Gandhi and Dante Alighieri. SGM young women’s division member Ang Seh Fang, who is an alumni of the school, shared the content of a picture book titled Trees of Peace with the students. To complement the sharing session, SGM Selangor also gifted two plants to beautify the school.
