On 5 February, in efforts to expand friendship in the community, SGM was invited by the Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) Residents Association in Cheras to perform a lion dance at Taman Tasik Rekreasi BMC.

SGM Young Lions Martial Arts Group (YLMA) staged a lively performance, sending New Year blessings to a large audience who responded with applause. This was followed by a tangerine-tossing event.

There were also lively performances such as dragon dances, martial arts performance, harmonica performance as well as food trucks and handmade picture books stalls and other attractions. Attendees included Bangi Member of Parliament Syahredzan Johan and the Chairman of Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) Residents Association.
