On August 27, in line with SGM’s Month of Peace, SGM Perak’s High School Division (HSD) organised a study of a peace exhibition with the theme “Creating Peace Together, You and I” at the state culture centre. One hundred and sixty one persons attended, with 37 of them being new friends.

The study was based on President Ikeda’s 2017 Peace Proposal, touching on the key topics such as human rights, environment and nuclear disarmament. Through activities such as playing games, watching films and making handicraft, they learnt about the threats facing our world and the dignity of life.

The participants also broke into small groups to discuss about creating peace. This was to foster in them President Ikeda’s passion for creating world peace.
