On 3 August, the SGM Young Lions Martial Arts Group won second place at a lion dance competition held at AEON Taman Equine, Selangor. Competing against 16 other troupes from across Malaysia, SGM group impressed the crowd with challenging stunts, earning thunderous applause. 

The event was organised by 9Kopitiam and coorganised by the Malaysia Hong Teck Dragon and Lion Dance Sports Association.
