On 16 July, the Neighbourhood Watch Committee of SS22B Damansara Jaya organised a blood donation campaign at Atria Shopping Gallery, Petaling Jaya, with SGM Kuala Lumpur as a joint partner. A total of 102 packs of blood were collected for the National Blood Centre. The “Seeds of Hope and Action” (SoHA) Exhibition was also held on-site, attracting over 135 visitors.

The event was graced by incumbent Bandar Utama state assemblyperson YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin, who emphasised the importance of such an event in allowing the public to contribute to the society, as well as to learn about environmental issues through the exhibition. Elaborating on the exhibition panels, YB Jamaliah said that the stories of environmental activists are inspiring as they highlight the power of a single individual.
