On November 21, 2020, SGM made a donation of RM20,000 to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS). The amount was handed over to the chairman of MRCS (Sabah Branch) Datuk Asnan Yunus Chung by SGM Sabah representative Lam Choi Sing in a ceremony held at SGM Sabah Culture Centre.

This donation, which is a response to MRCS’s material assistance programme, will provide 400 food baskets to needy families and vulnerable groups that have been seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Besides expressing their gratitude to the MRSC for helping those needy during this dire time, SGM also hoped that this donation will reduce their burden and stress.
