On 7 October 2021, SGM donated RM1,000.00 to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Warga Emas Kenang Budi Kuala Lumpur situated in Selangor. Later, after Selangor’s Movement
Control Order (MCO) was lifted, some SGM representatives visited the centre on 5 November to learn more about the living conditions and environment there.
Established in 2018, the centre takes in abandoned senior citizens. Currently, 17 residents take shelter there. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the centre’s donations have decreased tremendously which has strained its financial situation. SGM’s donation will be used to pay for expenses such as utility bills, rental and medication.
