On 15 April, SGM participated in the International Conference on Civilisation Dialogue 2025: Commemorating 30 Years of Civilisational Dialogue, hosted by Universiti Malaya’s Centre for Civilisational Dialogue (UMCCD), Centre of Regional Strategic Studies, and Islam-Confucianism Dialogue Society.

The event was held at University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur and was graced by the presence of Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who delivered a compelling keynote address on the importance of dialogue and inclusive nation-building.

SGM and UMCCD have enjoyed a longstanding partnership in civilisational dialogue initiatives, beginning in 1998.
