As part of SGM’s continued efforts to strengthen faith and foster future successors, a series of “I Seek Sensei” training courses are being held this year for representatives from various divisions and groups. These sessions aim to deepen participants’ understanding of the spirit of mentor and disciple.
On 6, 13, and 20 April, the SGM high school, student and culture divisions respectively visited the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM. In the solemn atmosphere of the prayer room, participants recited gongyo and chanted daimoku.

Through guided tours and detailed explanations of the exhibits, they reflected on the lives and struggles of the three founding presidents of the Soka Gakkai, as well as the golden history of President Ikeda’s two visits to Malaysia. It stirred a renewed determination among participants to fight alongside their mentor in the shared mission for kosen-rufu.
After the training course, a high school division representative expressed determination to foster members who embody the spirit of oneness of mentor and disciple. A student division representative pledged to demonstrate President Ikeda’s noble character through personal victories in society. Meanwhile, a culture division representative vowed to walk the path of mentor and disciple, advancing kosen-rufu by striving towards the goal of 8,000-youth shakubuku.
