The SGM Golden Age Group (GAG), established on 2 June 2002, celebrated its 23rd anniversary with general meetings held across the country throughout June. In his congratulatory message shared during the events, SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai emphasised that unwavering commitment to kosen-rufu is key to alleviating human suffering, encouraging everyone to continue striving for this noble cause, regardless of age.
SGM Penang held their meetings on 1 June at the SGM Penang and Bukit Tambun Culture Centres, drawing a total of 623 participants. GAG committee leader Sun Kien Seng, who attended the Bukit Tambun session, encouraged participants to pass on the flame of faith to their families and support the 8,000-youth shakubuku target.

In Melaka, the celebration took place on 2 June at its culture centre, with some 90 attendees. The event featured victory reports, a dance performance and the song “Song of Human Revolution.”
Perak’s celebration was held on 8 June at its culture centre, in conjunction with Soka Family and Friendship Day, and was attended by over 800 people. A highlight was the inspiring testimonies from three pioneer members on passing down the faith in their families.
In Negeri Sembilan, the focus was placed on the health of GAG members. On June 17 and 29, health seminars were held respectively at the Negeri Sembilan Culture Centre and the Bahau centre.
Meanwhile, Selangor’s session on 15 June welcomed some 400 attendees. Various dance and song performances enhanced the celebratory atmosphere.
