From the shadows of history, we rise with hope to build a world of peace.
In August 1945, the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki left an indelible scar on humanity, claiming countless lives and forever shaping the course of world history.

As we mark the 80th anniversary of this historic event, we are reminded of the irreplaceable value of peace, the fragility of life, and our shared responsibility to ensure such devastation never occurs again.

In solemn remembrance, we invite you to join us for a special online reflective talk titled Gestures of Peace, featuring Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dzulkifli Abdul Razak. His father was the sole Malaysian survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, and his family’s story stands as a powerful testament to the human cost of war and the enduring call for peace.

Together, let us reflect on the lessons of history and renew our shared determination to build a world free from nuclear weapons.
