In April, SGM engaged in two meaningful exchanges with religious organisations to promote peace and mutual understanding. 

On 11 April, a delegation of seven members from the United Religions Initiative (URI) visited the Mentor and Disciple Peace Hall at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM. The delegation comprised representatives from Bosnia, the US, Qatar, Indonesia, India and Malaysia. They engaged in a warm exchange with SGM representatives.

The following day, on 12 April, SGM was invited to participate in an interfaith exchange organised by URI at the Pure Life Society, Kuala Lumpur. The event brought together various faith-based organisations, including Interfaith Spiritual Fellowship, the Bahá’í Community, Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, among others.

The dialogue focused on addressing the needs of fostering interfaith understanding and the actions necessary to build and sustain peace.
