On November 9 and 10, 2019, 135 members of SGM Educators and Justice groups gathered at SGI Asia Culture and Education Centre (ACEC) for a training course.

The participants learnt about the significance of the three virtues of “sovereign, teacher, and parent” as it applies to their profession through studying the Gosho “The Opening of the Eyes.” In small group discussions, they also shared their impressions of reading selected chapters of The New Human Revolution.

Later, Justice Group members Jason Kong Teng Mun and Chan Sook Yee shared their journeys on how they overcame various difficulties such as bankruptcy, death of child and nasopharyngeal cancer. Later, together they founded a lawyer firm which aims to contribute to the society.

Furthermore, with conviction that the students’ happiness is the main aim of education, Educators Group members Lee Wui Chong and Kok Sau Jin also shared their faith experience and were both determined to become reliable and trusted teachers among their students.

Lastly, SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai urged the participants to always uphold the spirit of the three founding presidents and continue striving in their respective fields. He hoped that they will keep on enriching themselves and contribute to the society by fostering many more capable people.
