On 19 April, 154 persons-in-charge (PICs) of the SGM culture division gathered at the SGM Culture Centre for a training course. Culture division leader Yeap Shi Xiong shared the group’s direction towards 2030, encouraging the participants to engage more actively with other arts and cultural groups and to deepen their understanding of President Ikeda’s vision for peace and culture.

Participants also held small group discussions on topics such as fostering members and adapting to the changes of the times. Members from Penang, Sabah, Negeri Sembilan, and Selangor shared victorious reports, including overcoming challenges in practice and successfully organising cultural festivals.

To conclude, SGM Study Department Leader Chia Kok Peng conducted a lecture on President Ikeda’s lecture series on “A Religion of Human Revolution,” encouraging all culture division members to embody the spirit of harmony and respect for the dignity of all people, strengthen bonds between individuals, and build a harmonious world.
