The art exhibition “Ethereal Echoes – Sketches and Recent Works by Lai Loong Sung” concluded on 8 June at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM, having welcomed more than 3,600 visitors since its opening on 26 April. In addition to local visitors, the exhibition also attracted art enthusiasts from China, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the US.

The closing ceremony featured a heartfelt video montage of memorable moments and messages from visitors. Many were moved by the art, sharing comments like “I am drawn to his use of colour” and “these works offer a quiet window of comfort.”

In a gesture of appreciation, artist Lai Loong Sung gifted his artwork Ethereal Echoes to SGM, received on behalf by SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai.
