In response to a campaign organised by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) to clean up Taman Kinrara Section 2, Puchong, Selangor, 30 members of SGM Kuala Lumpur living in the vicinity volunteered their services on August 17, 2014.

Following a speech by the Kinrara state assemblyman Ng Sze Han, they started working together with MPSJ workers. The men were tasked with cleaning the drains and debris by the roadsides while the women cleaned the roads. The youths also helped to picked up the rubbish. All the participants were happy for being able to contribute to cleaning up the environment in their neighbourhood.
