In a world increasingly marked by division, environmental degradation, and inner disconnection, the call to build a genuine culture of peace has never been more urgent.

The 2025 Annual Peace Lecture, themed “The Path of Coexistence: Self, Humanity and Mother Earth,” invites us to reflect deeply on how peace can be cultivated — not only in society, but also within ourselves and in our relationship with the planet that sustains us.

This year’s lecture will be delivered by Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Anwar Fazal, a globally recognised advocate for peace, sustainability, and social justice. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Penang Gandhi Peace Centre and Vice Chairman of Sahabat Alam Malaysia, Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Anwar has dedicated decades of his life to championing environmental stewardship, human rights, and ethical living through both grassroots action and international advocacy.

In his lecture, Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Anwar Fazal will explore the interconnectedness of self, humanity, and Mother Earth — a relationship that forms the foundation of true coexistence. He will share insights on how inner change, mindful living, and compassionate action can bridge divides and inspire a shift from exploitation to harmony.

Join us for an afternoon of reflection and inspiration with Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Anwar Fazal as we explore how each of us can walk the path of coexistence and contribute to a shared future of peace, dignity, and ecological harmony.
