On 24 September, SGM Negeri Sembilan donated 100 books to the Daisaku Ikeda Library at SMJK Chan Wa II in Seremban.

The school board chairperson Chong Chee Yen expressed gratitude to SGM Negeri Sembilan for its ongoing support through book donations, which have enriched the library’s collection – the only library in Malaysia named after Daisaku Ikeda. 

SGM General Director Koh Sia Feai highlighted the diversity of President Ikeda’s writings, which include dialogues, peace proposals, essays and children’s picture books. He expressed hope that the donated books would enlighten students’ hearts, expand their knowledge, and serve as guiding lights in their lives.

Since 2007, SGM Negeri Sembilan has donated more than 1,000 books to the library.

Also present at the handover ceremony were school principal Soong Li Ying and SGM Negeri Sembilan chairperson Dato’ Chong Khin Sang.
