SGM Sarawak Donates Water and Masks to Villagers in Need

On June 21, SGM Sarawak donated 300 cartons of drinking water and 300 boxes of face masks to some 600 residents of Kampung Sinar Budi in Batu Kawa, near Kuching. The residents had been placed under an Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from June 10–23 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.

SGM Sarawak representative Tan Chai Hong handed over the donation to the village head in a ceremony witnessed by Tan Kai, political secretary to Chief Minister YAB Datuk Amar Abang Johari Abang Openg.

SGM Sarawak also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the frontliners, such as RELA and the police for their efforts in fighting the disease.
