Twenty-three Youth Peace Culture Festival Events Held Nationwide
One Person Can Spark a Wave of Peace
In November and December 2025, SGM organised a series of Youth Peace Culture Festival (YPCF) events nationwide. The events attracted over 30,000 people, becoming “a single drop of water” within local communities that continue to gather momentum and spread the ideals of peace.
The YPCF was held in 12 states nationwide, with a total of 23 events. Youth division members from each state took the lead in planning and executing, while the men’s, women’s and junior divisions provided active support and assistance, demonstrating the spirit of “many in body, one in mind” that pulses vibrantly in SGM.
Notably, the YPCF was not only supported by SGM members through behind-the-scenes preparation and onstage performances, but also saw the participation of many Soka friends across various groups. Together, they brought the programmes to life, clearly reflecting the Soka Gakkai spirit of transcending differences in building friendship and striving hand-in-hand for peace.
More than 5,000 backstage staff and performers worked as one to bring this nationwide cultural endeavour to a successful conclusion, contributing meaningfully to promoting world peace and national harmony. Beyond generating a wave of peace and celebrating Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, SGM also used the YPCF as an opportunity to systematically foster young people, encouraging their growth through practice and taking concrete, steady steps towards building a vibrant and youthful organisation.
A special feature on the YPCF will be published in the March issue of COSMIC. Stay tuned.
