SGM Promote Humanism at International Conference with Publications Showcase

SGM participated in the 12th International Society for the Study of Chinese Overseas (ISSCO) International Conference by setting up a publications display and sales booth at the University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur, on 4 and 5 November.

Organised by UM’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in collaboration with ISSCO, the conference attracted over 600 scholars and researchers from over 20 countries and territories. Themed “Chinese Overseas in a Changing World: Global Networks, Local Realities,” the programme explored diverse topics, including Chinese cultural heritage, research methodologies, beliefs and religions, as well as languages and dialects.

SGM’s booth showcased a curated selection of publications that aligned with the conference theme, offering participants valuable insights into the Soka Gakkai’s humanistic philosophy and its contributions to culture and education.

The participation demonstrated SGM’s ongoing commitment to fostering cultural understanding, peace and scholarly exchange through the power of literature.
