SGM Melaka Hosts Informative Health Talk on Rheumatoid Arthritis

On 26 October 2025, SGM Melaka successfully organised a health talk on rheumatoid arthritis at its culture centre. The session was led by Dr Yap Wee Fang, a rheumatologist from Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital in Muar, Johor.

The event, aimed at raising public awareness of rheumatoid arthritis, drew 65 people. Dr Yap delivered a comprehensive presentation covering essential aspects of the disease, including its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options and preventive measures. 

Participants actively engaged with the specialist by posing questions throughout the session, demonstrating a strong interest in understanding the disease.

In addition to the talk, the centre hosted a book promotion and a food fair, which contributed to a lively educational atmosphere for all who attended.
