SGI Delegations Engage In Meaningful Activities in Malaysia

In addition to attending the ISTAC World Professorial Lecture and the third entrance ceremony of Soka International School Malaysia (SISM), Soka Gakkai president Minoru Harada and other SGI delegates also took part in the following events:

President Harada Meets Prince Tunku Zain

On 24 August, President Harada paid a courtesy visit to Negeri Sembilan prince YAM Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Tuanku Muhriz at Istana Negeri Sembilan in Kuala Lumpur.

During the meeting, the prince introduced his involvement in the field of education. President Harada also conveyed respect for the prince’s initiatives and shared how President Ikeda had made education his life’s final undertaking.

As a patron of the arts, the prince also expressed interest in attending activities organised by the Min-On Concert Association, a Soka Gakkai affiliate.

Women’s Division Guidance Session

On 23 August, Soka Gakkai women’s division general leader Kimiko Nagaishi gave guidance to some 80 women’s division representatives at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM.

She encouraged the participants from four key perspectives: the greatness of having a noble mentor; building harmonious families; fostering capable people; and the interconnection between human revolution and shakubuku.
