SGM Selangor Presents Scintillating Dance in Community Chinese New Year Celebration Dinner
On 27 February 2026, SGM Selangor attended a community Chinese New Year gathering organised by Chinese organisations from the Sentosa constituency. SGM president Johnny Ng, SGM Selangor honorary secretary Yap Chin Fah and other representatives attended at the invitation of Sentosa assemblyperson YB Gunaraj George.
Eleven youth division members presented a dance blending traditional and modern elements, adding festive joy to the event celebrating the start of the Year of the Horse. The dancers delivered a synchronised and spirited performance that delighted the audience.
The youths’ performance not only showcased talent and strong teamwork; it highlighted SGM’s longstanding commitment to fostering community harmony and cultural exchange. Their vibrant dance enlivened the celebration and conveyed a message of unity, harmony and shared prosperity, as it concluded the event on a high note.
