SGM Selangor Participates in Culture Carnival Promoting Mutual Learning and Exchange

 

In conjunction with Visit Selangor Year 2025, the Klang Royal City Council organised the “Klang Cultural Heritage and Tourism Carnival” on 15 and 16 November 2025 at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery and Arts Square. The event aimed to highlight the value of local cultural heritage and boost regional tourism.

Invited by the organisers, SGM Selangor set up a culture exhibition area showcasingthe essence of Chinese traditional culture. The booth attracted lively participation from visitors, including Selangor state exco YB Datuk Borhan Aman Shah, Klang mayor Dato’ Abd Hamid Hussain and the public. Guests from various ethnic backgrounds and age groups interacted enthusiastically, expressing strong interest in the richness and depth of Chinese cultural heritage.

The carnival presented the vibrant multicultural landscape of Selangor and also provided a platform for friendly cross-cultural exchange, fostering mutual understanding and harmonious coexistence. SGM will continue to strengthen community bonds through cultural activities, helping to cultivate the values of unity and peace within society.
