SGM Sabah Longstanding Blood Donation Drive Cooperation Collects Over 1,400 Bags to Date

On 14 December 2025, SGM Sabah collaborated with Keningau Hospital to organise a blood donation drive at the Interior Division Region centre, successfully collecting 23 bags of blood. The initiative provided valuable support to the local healthcare system and helped alleviate blood shortages.

Earlier, on 5 October, SGM Sabah also held a blood donation drive at the SGM Sabah Culture Centre, collecting 38 bags of blood for Queen Elizabeth Hospital II in Kota Kinabalu.

Since 2011, SGM Sabah has worked hand in hand with the state’s public hospitals to promote blood donation as a public service initiative. To date, 1,420 bags of blood have been donated, reflecting SGM Sabah’s long-term commitment to supporting community healthcare and safeguarding lives.

Through these continuous acts of goodwill, SGM Sabah puts the Buddhist spirit of cherishing life and contributing to society into daily practice, steadily contributing to the creation of a warmer and more compassionate society.
