SGM Perak Organises Blood Donation Drives, Serving the Community and Protecting Life

In March, SGM Perak organised a series of blood donation drives, which received enthusiastic support from local residents.

On 1 March, drives were held at the Perak Culture Centre and Sitiawan Centre, collecting 37 and 11 units of blood respectively. A week later, on 8 March, 49 units were collected at the Kampar Centre, while 71 units were collected on 15 March at the Taiping Centre.

A total of 168 units of blood were collected across the four drives, helping to strengthen blood bank reserves while raising public awareness of blood donation. The initiative reflects members’ commitment to humanistic care and service to society, bringing warmth and hope to the community.

Jointly reported by Lee Yoke Kang, Tan Pwei Sun and Wong Hoi Yin, photographed by Lee Wai Loon, Ngoi Guo Jiann and Tan Chew Men.
